Feedback gevenIs this a destination stop? Not necessarily. But if you are in Eugenia and exploring the area, this is a tasty roadside fry shack.
We had a burger each and a poutine to share - this is the real stuff, highly recommend it. The portions are really big, after a 3 hour canoe trip we thought we could eat a whole cow, those burgers were enough!
These burgers are so, so good. For only $5 you get a burger made with local beef on a homemade bun. For $10 you get a combo with a burger, drink and the best crispy wedge cut fries. These burgers are above average for sure, and the stall is owned by the owner of two local restaurants. Don't miss this!
In August, we stumbled upon County Burger and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. The fresh, hand-cut wedge fries, crispy chicken fingers, and delicious burgers on heavily seeded buns were a hit. So we decided to come back a month later to see if the food was consistently good. And it was.
This restaurant is located at the corner of Pellisier Street and Grey Road 13 in Eugenia, with a postal code that places it in Flesherton, 10 km west of Eugenia. On a rainy night, we decided to try it out and were pleasantly surprised. While we had noticed the restaurant before, we had always been on our way to another favorite spot nearby. They offer $10 burger combos which include delicious wedges, a burger with lettuce, tomato, and onion, and a drink. The burger was hands down the best I have ever had - thick, juicy, and served on an awesome bun. My wife opted for sautéed onions for an additional $1, while my son and I chose bacon. You can add your own condiments, and I highly recommend the hot sauce. Our meal came to $33 plus tip, and we left feeling satisfied and impressed. It's worth noting that the sautéed onions come in a flavorful sauce, which may be overwhelming for some. Overall, a great dining experience that left us full and happy.
