I especially enjoyed the music from the 90s and early 00s they were playing, much better than the current music in my opinion. The chicken sandwich and big pretzel appetizer were both delicious. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
This is a hotspot in Forest Hills. The food is excellent and I've always had great service. Although the place can become very crowded during the weekends and late night. They usually have a DJ on weekends but no dance floor. Good beer selection and one of the few places that have 7 day happy hour.
This place is just as ok. Went here for brunch and got two very medium tasting (but super strong) **** Mary's. Corned beef hash was a B and the breakfast burger was nothing special. Friendly host and waiter. Better than average beer selection.
Austin Public is a fantastic gastropub located in the center of Forest Hills, Queens. They offer daily specials and a happy hour. The menu features delicious American bar food at reasonable prices for New York City. They have a great selection of craft beers on tap, including Belgian beers that change regularly. Make sure to check their website for the current beer offerings. The service is friendly and prompt, but the atmosphere can get noisy depending on the evening. Street parking is challenging, but there are public lots nearby if needed.
