Very expensive drinks so the overall bill felt too much for the quality of food. Had to wait ages between courses, waiters working hard but perhaps more kitchen staff needed.
We called in for an evening meal. The children all had pizzas which looked and tasted gorgeous . My wife and I had the €33 three course menu and everything from starter to dessert were genuine Italian and all were superbly cooked. The tagliatele and the ravioli were delicious. The drinks are overpriced but that seems to be norm in this part of France . Very happy with our meal and the service
We popped in for a quick dinner and were greeted by a friendly Italian boy who offered us a table inside. Cosy interior. We both ordered a pizza and it turned out to be excellent. The only downsize was the bill, which showed 7€ for a glass of red wine. Our advice would be to carefully check the menu and drink list to avoid such a surprise.
We arrived early (7pm) for dinner and were the first people in the restaurant--a little skeptical at first as the place doesn't look like much. Turned out to be a nice surprise. A very good Italian meal--pastas that seemed local/homemade and lovely salads. A nice little place for a low-key meal when you need a break from French food. The one waiter was running around like a madman by the time we left--the place was packed with locals.
We remember this restaurant from prior visits and enjoyed its quirkiness, and we're sad to see it was u dear obviously new ownership. But not to worry - definitely different but still good. It's now an Italian (mostly) pizza place with lovely white table cloths and a sunny terrace. The pizza was unique and very fresh tasting. Thin crust with cheese, barely noticeable sauce and roquette greens and fresh calamari and shrimp. Light and tasty, perfect for lunch.
