Mccoy's Grill - Grimes

Went in for lunch with a friend. He got the burger, and it looked pretty good maybe should have gone with that! I got the grilled chicken sandwich; it was plump and mostly tender, but not much flavor and did have a couple of grisly spots. The fries were hot, crisp, and very good. Drinks were refilled quickly, often, and before request. Service overall was very friendly and good. I'll go back another time and try something else to see if I just chose poorly.

6 have went here for lunch dinner. Lunch was wonderful. I had a sandwich mushrooms fries. Everything for lunch was hot delicious. Prices weren't bad either. The waitress was very nice talkative. Then I went for dinner it was terrible. The hamburger didn't come with anything, unless you specifically asked. My chicken sandwich would have been just chicken bread 300 pickles if I wouldn't have asked for mayo. And it was in a packet on the side. I was very annoyed by this was told all their sandwiches were plain like this. But at lunch it wasn't this way. The staff at dinner weren't as pleasant either. I definitely recommend lunch, but not so sure about dinner.

This bar is a hidden gem. By far the best bar food I've ever had. Owner is almost always around and attentive to all needs. Plenty of large TVs and full bar. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great cheap food and drinks.

Came here for their Halloween party a couple weeks ago and had a fun time! A friend's band was playing that night so we had to go and support them! It was a fun night since everyone was all dressed up in their Halloween finest haha! The staff members we interacted with were very friendly. The patrons of the bar were all laid back and there were no issues. I kinda wished I tried the food so I could talk about that, but all I did was drink beer haha! The bar was not packed, but they were busy! Not sure how they are on a standard night, but it was a cool place to hang out.

Basically a dead bar with a hand full of locals. Nice locals though! Couple of pool tables and a dart board. Don't expect a busy place.
