Waltham Windmill Golf Club - Grimsby

Amazing day and the WHOLE course was open (winter/Jan). no temp greens or tees. the price was at £20pp in a group of 5. front 9 was nice and open with some water and the back 9 was very test, but still amazing with some more water the greens are a bit fast for the time of the year, but this is golf.

Personally, one of the best courses in Lincolnshire with great fairways and lovely greens! The clubhouse is superb, with local cask ales, lovely house wines, a great menu offering daily specials, ranging from steaks to vegetarian meals, which can be eaten inside in the clubhouse or on the outdoor balcony overlooking the course. Buggy hire is available, there is plenty of parking and a great pro shop offering everything you need for your round. If you haven't played the course nor tried the food, I suggest you do both!

A thoughtly enjoyable experience. A quality course with a good variety of holes great greens. Not long, but interesting, a course to make you think of your strategy. As a senior golfer, you don't need to be a big hitter to be rewarded, with a decent score.
