La Casa De Pancho - Grinnell

I have been with Pancho many times and love the freshly made margaritas. The classic Azul-Marg is the best I ever had! The thin swamp is perfect if I want to feel like a diet. While they are not always published, the streets tacos are wonderful, plentiful meat and fresh Zilantro and sweet onion, amazing! A colleague said that the quality of a Mexican restaurant should be assessed as rice and beans would stand alone. At Pancho's, the rice is never sticky and has never the most suspected frozen peas and cubed carrots from many other places. The beans are of a good texture, never runny. Lorena and Eric are wonderful hosts, always friendly and great with attentive service. I recommend Pancho's!

My sister and our men traveled home from Colorado and we stayed in Grinnell for the night. We were hungry and wanted food. We tried another Mexican restaurant, but we didn't see it. So we moved on to get over this GEM. Best Mexican cuisine and great margaritas on a Monday night. Our waitress was friendly and funny. Don't miss this place, it's amazing food!!

Fantastic margaritas! There are several flavors available to choose from. My family and friends are big fans of margaritas, and these are among the best we've ever had! They’re not pre-mixed from a bottle like many places; they shake them fresh right at the bar! The salsa is delicious, and the food is outstanding too! Highly recommended!

When I visit a new Mexican restaurant, I always make sure to try the tamales and chile relleno. Their chile relleno is among the best I've had—crispy on the outside and served in a generous portion. The restaurant can get quite busy at times, which may affect the service, but generally, they are quick to get your food out.

We hadn't visited this restaurant since it changed ownership a few months ago, but we went there tonight and were very impressed. The food was excellent, the salsa was fresh and exceptional, our waitress was very friendly, and everything was really clean!
