Caribbean Delight - Guelph

I got the oxtail with rice peas and side soup, my partner got curry chicken roti. We both also got mild beef patties to start. The pastry is flakey and crisp, filling is fresh definitely homemade. Portion sizes were generous and flavours were spot on. Hands down the best Caribbean food restaurant in Guelph. We will be back!

We had dinner there tonight and it was fantastic. Exceptional service and the owners were very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this spot.

I ordered a small oxtail and waitress gave me a piece of j chicken to sample. The sides were rice and peas with steam veggies and 1 Plantain. The presentation was just okay and there is definitely room for improvement. The sides were okay I really liked the flavour of the steam veggies and the plantain complimented the meal. I honestly did not like the oxtail and it was not very tender or flavourful, the portion was very small for the price. I was also not a fan of the j chicken (but to be be honest I don't like j chicken that much in Canada to begin with because it's not very authentic) it was just okay. The place was very clean and smelled very fresh and so for their wash room very very clean and I absolutely love that. There waitress was very polite and that's exceptional in my eyes (if you know you know). Would I go back, I really don't know.
