Carter Green Steakhouse - Gulfport

Michelle was our server and she did a fantastic job. She helped us choose a wine that satisfied three different tastes and it was an inexpensive but very good wine. She and Billy were very attentive, helpful, professional and most importantly, theyseemed genuinely kind. Food was excellent (steaks and shrimp) and the portions were surprisingly generous. It was our firstvisit there and definitely won't be our last.

I took my wife here for her birthday and man was I impressed! The filet topped with bearnaise sauce was absolutely delicious, and cooked perfectly. Ooey gooey cake for dessert was almost better. The only thing that was better than the food for me and mywife was the service we recieved from our waiter lionel! Thank you lionel, and thank you Carter green steakhouse!

We dined here on a Saturday night. Although they misplaced our reservation, they were kind enough to accommodate us without any issues. I ordered the house salad, which is my favorite on the coast. We both enjoyed the ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection. For dessert, I had the gooey butter cake, which was incredibly sweet and melted in my mouth. The fresh berries on top were a delightful addition.

I ordered the tuna steak, cooked medium rare, along with a strawberry salad and sweet potato. Unfortunately, every dish fell flat on seasoning and flavor, leaving us unsatisfied. There was nothing that wowed us. The filet mignon, however, was tender, juicy, and quite flavorful. We considered adding the maple sauce, but when it arrived, it tasted like plain brown gravy, so we decided against it. Overall, the meal didn’t justify the $62 price tag. The service was fine, the restaurant was clean, and making a reservation was easy. The lemon drop martini was strong, and the garlic knots were delightful. Still, there are definitely better dining options that will leave you feeling satisfied and full!

I had one of the best steaks I've ever tasted. The tuna appetizer was fantastic. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Thank you very much!
