Golden Sea - Gunnison

This is the best place in gunnison for food it has some of the best Chinese food you can eat.

Food was good. I had takeout. Still not open for dine in service.

I love how Golden Sea is a small town restaurant that serves our community, the staff has always been kind. This business is lovely and has a lot of potential.

I called an ordered chicken chow mein. I asked for steamed rice and the lady wouldn't allow me to order it. Said it didn't come with. She did allow me to order egg drop soup. When I got it home and tasted it I became aware that it was most likely the canned chicken chow mein from the grocery store and had to season everything myself. The bag I pulled it out of was a complete mess too. It was spilling everywhere. The bag of crunchy noodles for the egg drop soup had barley any in it. Should have taken a picture.

The food is great so is the service, they are very quick getting your food out to you. I highly recommend giving them a try we order there for work meetings a lot and just for lunches. They use to have dine in before covid hit hoping they reopen that part soon their buffet was great.
