Silvio's Quality Sandwich - Hackney

I work near Silvios and go there almost every day. The staff is always friendly and it's great to support a local business. The coffee is consistently excellent and I enjoy their delicious porridge. Their lunch options are extensive and the food is always delicious.

Paid my 5th visit to this place today after recently moving in to the area. Each visit seems to have got steadily worse with today's being by far the worst. To be charged nearly £5 for a filled roll (bap) you'd expect freshness, taste and quality. Sadly they failed on all 3 fronts. Throw in a bag of crisps and a drink and you're looking at over £7 which is top end for Hackney. I don't understand why they wear gloves to prepare the sandwiches and then go and handle cash, surely that defeats the object? I will now take my custom elsewhere.

The staff here is fantastic, providing excellent service along with delicious coffee and food. While prices may be a bit higher than other cafes nearby, the quality of the food is unmatched in the area.

I visit this coffee shop in the morning for my cappuccino and in the afternoon for my americano or flat white. It is the nearest coffee shop to my office and I really enjoy it. The waitresses are very friendly and courteous. I have also tasted their soup and quiches, both of which were delightful!
