Feedback gevenThis is definitely a must eat when you are in Hakone. Ordered the set meal which was exceptionally well thought out. The course starts with a single ice cubed unsweetened soy milk for you to taste the soy they use before any stronger item. The main comes with a room temperature soy skin with wasabi, cold tofu with grated bitter ginger and spring onions, hot tofu skin clay pot soup cooked with dashi, mushroom and coriander and lastly, pickles and rice. There's no meat at all but it feels like you had the whole course from vegetables to fish and to meat as each tasted differently while focusing on the natural taste of tofu products. Desserts were a small little plum pickle, choice of either soy skin or tofu with boiled red beans. The red bean was soft and was a little sweet which went well with either choice. A cup of hot hojicha was served as well to wash it all down. Service was excellent and our party was asked which language menu we needed. The price was alright and the portion was big. Would recommend.
Long queue but time is not that long simple menu easy to choose they have korean menu as well take a card which is good also highly recommend for vegan (need to check sauce though)

This is one of the best places for Yuba (tofu skin). The meal was absolutely delicious and loved cozy ambiance.
Interesting cosy restaurant in Hakone serving tofu meals. Very unique taste and quite delicious. Kids meal available.
