El Gallo Mexican Cuisine - Halifax

I recently tried the handmade taco chips with homemade guacamole dip at this restaurant, and they were absolutely delicious! I really enjoyed the fresh cilantro and spices used in the dish. This was the best Mexican-inspired dish I have had outside of Mexico.

We are frequent visitors to the Halifax Seaport Market. The dips and sauces at this place are outstanding, particularly the cilantro dip. They serve fresh burritos, tacos, and more that are truly delicious. The authentic Mexican flavors are a standout. The only downside is that they do not have a permanent restaurant. Halifax definitely needs one. Please, El Gallo, consider opening a permanent location!

We sampled their dishes at the Talexpo event in Wolfville, NS and were impressed by how fresh and delicious they were! Now that we know they're also located in Halifax Seaport Market, we are definitely going to seek them out!
