As far as food food places go, Harvey's is one of the better fast food restaurants. It offers plenty of condiments and toppings, and they have never gotten my order wrong yet.

People usually comment that an ethnic restaurant is good if you see people of that ethnicity eating there. Well I worked at Harvey's in the very early 80's when first opened and I enjoyed the food then and just happened to eat lunch there today, Dec 23/15. I had their angus burger but I like the original burger just as much. The double angus with cheese, fries and drink was just over $13. I could have been fine with a single but, you have to enjoy yourself occasionally. The thing I like is the assortment of condiments you get to choose from. There burger is a pre made frozen burger which isn't what I consider a beef burger like Burger King but still good for a change.

I haven't had a Harvey's burger for a few years and I enjoyed several visits to this restaurant because it is close to where I was. The food continues to be wonderful.

My wife & I attended Harvey's last night for grilled chicken burgers to take home. We noticed when walking inside that the staff were preparing grilled chicken wraps for another customer & the wraps looked good, so we decided to get grilled chicken wraps too. We also ordered fries & onion rings. The staff were very polite & asked if we could be patient for a couple of minutes in oder to give the chicken time to be ready/cooked. We sat at a table & noticed how very clean the restaurant is. We only waited a short time & when adding the toppings, the female staff member was very accommodating. When we got home, we ate our meal & it was delicious! The wraps were so fresh & healthy & tasty & BIG! Other restaurant wraps do not compare! They use a REAL chicken breast. The onion rings & fries were also very good & tasted very wholesome. Overall, the fresh tasty, satisfying food, as well the very courteous & efficient service of Harvey's staff made for an excellent experience. We live in Dartmouth, but will definitely make the trip to Haliafx again very soon. Way to go Harverys!!
