Jim's Family Seafood Restaurant

My son, husband and I ate here on Saturday, May 13th as an early Mother's Day treat. We are from the South Shore and hadn't been there in many, many years and our son had never been there. We all ordered the smaller seafood platter and were totally in awe of the serving size. The restaurant was quite busy and we thought there would be a long wait for our food after ordering, but that was not the case. Everything arrived promptly and we all agreed that it was absolutely delicious!! Our server was very friendly and efficient. The only downfall.....after such a tastey meal.....we had no room for dessert!! ; We will definitely make it a point to eat here again and to pass along to our friends to check our your establishment the next time they plan an outing to the city.

A family favourite for as long as I can remember. Great food, even better staff who welcome you like you're home. I recommend this place to everyone looking for the best fish and chips!

Of all the places to eat in Halifax this is by far my favorite. The food is always excellent without fail. It's the one place I can truly say I have never eaten a bad meal. The staff are wonderful and friendly and I love the family owned feel here. Sitting in the back looking out over the harbour is lovely. Can't wait to try the deck on a warm sunny summer day! I always love coming back here. You can never go wrong with Jim's!
