The Brown Hound Public House - Halifax

It was first time visiting for me and my wife we really enjoyed their meat pie but The Famous hound house burger was so dry and 0 juicy. like has been keep in freezer for a long time but kitchen said that there's nothing wrong with it, and it is original patty I just don't get it how come this patty is so dry even patty is mixed with pork meat?

Nice Place near the Alexander Keith Brewery and Beer Market. We couldn't get a tour and they recommended we go here as they carry all of their products. Service was good. Building was cute (old in a good way). Husband had the mussels and loved them. I had the Shepherds Pie and it was decent. Lots of love to their dog mermaids in the bathrooms. ????

Great food and great service! Will definitely go there again next time we're in Halifax! They have the best fish and chips and the best mussels we ever had!

Incredible service! Amazing downtown location with cozy atmosphere. Food is amazing fish burger is a personal favourite! Nothing but positive things to say about this restaurant!
