Thought this place was the best option for an Indian , arrived just after 5pm hoping to beat the rush, however no-one greeted us for around many minutes, then was told the oven tandoori oven was not working and to come back in 30 minutes. Arriving after 30 mins we checked that all was ok to order, they said yes, we ordered then we're told the wait would be 45 mins! After saying we would leave it, they rudely ripped up the order in front of our faces. We left and decided to cook our own food, which I advise everyone else to do. The more recent reviews about dead atmosphere and poor customer service seem to be more accurate. Don't just rely on the 4.3 star rating. Be warned!

Excellent food, lousy service. No red wine even though there are 3 kinds on the menu. Strange invoice with amounts added and crossed out. For some obscure reason, they refused our new 50 pound note claiming that it had the Queen's portrait on it and that it is no longer valid. Anything!! Vegetarian options: In general, all Indian restaurants offer vegetarian dishes. Service: Dine in
