Miss Daisy's Tearoom At Sutton Park

Absolutely shocking rude service. I was totally shocked and excited by all three people. we arrived with our bikes (noting, I am a polite cyclist) and we were immediately asked to remove our bikes from the entrance and the expensive seats do not touch them....We had hardly stopped leaving our bikes. we were treated like schoolchildren, and the personal continued to speak rudely about us while we made our coffee and eating. we then got a very dirty menu between two of us. the coffee and the food were good, but not excellent. when leaving I asked how rude they were to not be added the free 10% service fee (which is automatically applied). I usually add at least 20%, but didn't want to go. the waitress said rudely, I didn't include it that I was confused as she said it was automatic - she then went away with her abhorrent to us. Never before was I treated with such an rude and evil service.

I visited this caffe twice in a week. the first time that my friend and I were a little early and we were told by an unfriendly, unwilling employee that they were not yet open. we were taken back how rude and uninterested she was in us. we were later served with delicious cake and coffee and as a result I visited again with another friend today. we drove bikes and because there are no bike stands, I leaned my bike on a chair outside that was in use. we were greeted with the words, don't refuse their bikes against my expensive furniture." These words were strict and made us feel like naughty children. we should've gone right away with hindsight. we were served with coffee and cake, which was good. there is a statement next to the fertilizer that reads that a 10% service fee is added, unless they ask that they be removed. when we were spoken with rude, we did not want to leave the 10% load, so my friend asked politely if it could be taken off. the dame at the place she began to say that she would not put it on, which totally contradictory the sign and my friend found himself explaining why she had said it. I've never been with as unhappy, unfriendly and miserable employees as this. it is so a shame as eating is delicious, but, effortless to say, we will not come back or recommend it to everyone else.

This was the first meeting of the yorker speaker group for 18 months. we had a fabulous afternoon tea in a relaxed environment. it was great to meet old friends and even a few new ones. friendly staff, very attentive and good food. Thank you.

A small shade, in the idyllic north yorkshire. ignore the negative comments. we spent a relaxed couple of hours in a beautiful environment. the staff was very friendly and the food was great. I can recommend cheese scones

Very Disappointed service very slow ordered 1 tea and 1 beer plus 1 scone with fresh cream and 1 Panni Sandwich , 10 minutes later Tea and beer arrived, then 10 minutes later the scone came finished the tea and scone and beer then 10...minutes later after i asked for the bill Panni Sandwich arrived with no apologies for any delay.
