Stayed at the local caravan site and walked down to the pub for a few drinks and a bite to eat. Very dog friendly. Locals were welcoming. Staff really helpful. Food was very tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

We stayed for 2 nights, to spend some time with our family who live in Ripon. This was the best value locally we could find and we were very happy with the property. Literally next to the pub, which served good pub food, 3 double bedrooms, lovely and clean, good carpets, although no central heating portable electric/ oil radiators in each room did the job. There was plenty of hot water and an electric shower. Located well for visiting the NY moors, Dales, Ripon or fountains abbey all no more than 30 minutes or less. A bottle of fresh milk and tea/coffee was provided, plenty of clean, nice cutlery and crockery too. Recommend for a long weekend, small kitchen so you wont be doing gourmet food but was OK for basics. In short, plenty of space, great value, good location and a lovey pub. (Oh, and they will deliver the food to your accommodation too!

Once again a good sunday lunch 5 minutes up the road the food was good the service was excellent price great only drawback is that their is no door to the restaurant area the noise from the bar can be quite loud
