Stillington Fisheries - Hambleton

I was very disappointed by my experience at this restaurant. The portion sizes of the chips were small for the price and the fish was extremely greasy. The staff were unfriendly and the restaurant only accepts cash, no cards. They are still strictly enforcing mask and social distancing policies.

The female owner greeted us rudely and with a condescending attitude. The portions of food were extremely small considering the price. The food was dry and overcooked. The service was very slow. I would rather travel to Huby or Easingwold for a better dining experience.

This chippy is fantastic. The chips are exceptional, unlike the standard chips you find everywhere else. The staff is friendly and accommodating. My wife and I stopped by while traveling in the area and the owner could tell we were a bit lost and hungry. I would highly recommend this place!

Great fish and chips, would have go 5 stars if they would take cards, but it's cash only.
