Anchor - Hamilton

I visited the restaurant on Saturday afternoon for a beer and some snacks. The service was outstanding; the waitress was not only kind but also cheerful and fun, which really brightened our mood. The menu had a limited selection of main dishes, but it seemed like they make a great pizza. We ordered the chicken poutine and cheese sticks. The chicken poutine was a bit too spicy for my taste, but it was still enjoyable. The cheese sticks were decent, though nothing exceptional. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

What an amazing place! The service is fantastic, and the food—especially the original Buffalo Wings—is delicious. They also have a great selection of beers. I've been visiting for nine years and even host an annual party there for over fifty people. The staff at the Anchor Bar is easy to work with, friendly, and the food never disappoints. This year, I tried the salt and pepper (dry) wings for the first time, and they were fantastic. I highly recommend this place!

I had an absolutely amazing experience at this restaurant! The service is consistently outstanding, with the staff being quick and efficient. The food is delicious, and the drinks are equally satisfying. I highly recommend visiting this location; I’m a regular, and I always appreciate the personable and friendly servers like Sierra, Suzi, and Jenny— they really enhance the dining experience. The bartender, Claudia, is truly exceptional! Even the hostess, Emma, is warm and welcoming. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. Be sure to check this place out whenever you have the chance!

Came in with no real expectations...it's a bar attached to a mall. Food was fresh...fast and flavour was on point. First surprise great food. Second surprise 1st class service ....I would hire Sierra away in a heartbeat if I owned any sort of customer oriented business. I am a little sad because now I have no choice but to abandon my regular neighbourhood bar and start becoming a regular Anchor Bar Jackson Square

We were in town for Judas Priest and wanted something close. Amazing food and the service was incredible. Emily our server was awesome, answered our menu questions easily and has a great sense of humour. It makes such a difference when someone is truly good at their job, I bow to the queen!
