Dons Seafood- Hammond

Kait and Ash were amazing at the bar. Came back twice because they made us feel like regulars. Food is delicious and comes out pretty quick. Best seats in the house is by the grill!

Atmosphere only gets a 1 because we sat on the porch. Evidently Hammond has no noise pollution policy for vehicles... it's horrible! And maybe put some fly traps out there?? Bottom line... should have waited for a table inside!

All of their seafood is frozen. The blackened catfish had a bad freezer burnt taste that just wouldn’t leave your mouth. The fried catfish, the batter was so salty My wife had to go get her blood pressure checked. The fried alligator was on point. Although The shrimp are frozen. They still taste fine. The overall experience at Dons seafood was not good. We will not be going back. Dons Seafood have let themselves go. Two adult diners, 1 child the price was $150.00
