Loved. First class was fed and served. Height and prices, but rewarding. We'll be back.
We were quite random and spontaneous in the summer night room in Helmkehof. Our expectations were exceeded. It was a successful evening: delicious food, good wines and an extremely friendly service have missed nothing. Wonderful.
La Rock is especially recommended for wine lovers and friends of good, upscale cuisine. The ambience is modern and informal. The menu is manageable and seasonal and monthly. Price/quality I find appropriate for the quality of food and selection and advice of wines. Here is quality about quantity. For this I like to pay a high price. The events of La Rock in cooperation with winemakers and sommeliers are also worth a visit!
A bit away from Highstreet you will find La Rock in the list Neighbourhood near the Tube Lister place. The atmosphere is slightly gothic, but in a nice underlying way. The restaurant is small, so without reservation we are lucky to get a table. The waiter was... most welcoming and gave us a great service. La Rock has a small menu. Some appetizers, meat, fish and veggie net and a few deserts. We have duck and veggie burgers and a slice of roasted local bread with salmon as a common starter. Before we get a Sashimi salmon as a greeting from the kitchen. Look, the quality we got was just excellent. Portion size was perfect. I had a white wine on the glass that perfectly matched the meal. All in all a very good dinner atmosphere, service, food everything highly recommended.
