Motorcycle riders be aware- they have old gas pumps that do not take CC and the hours listed online don't match actual hours. I wish I could have tried the food, but the place was a ghost town at 6:45 pm on a Tuesday. So if you are riding 152, get fuel in Bayard or before getting off the highway by Cabello.
We ate here, purchased stuff for our rented cabin and even got gas here. Prices are good, food is amazing-highly recommended for those tourists like myself as I?m sure the locals know how valuable this establishment is! Waitress Jan (not there a lot but fills in when needed) is a sweet woman and makes you feel right at home!
The food at this restaurant is incredible! I ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy on a biscuit and it was cooked to perfection, along with eggs and hash browns. My girlfriend got a turkey sandwich and fries which were also fantastic. This hidden gem of a restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
We snowbird in the area, love driving up for the German food on Wednesdays. So glad they are bringing it back. Their regular menu is great too! Friendly staff, and great food,
