Not a great experience. One man was in partial control of a very large, excited dog, causing others to keep their distance.
Both toilets out of order, only find out when you get to till by overhearing a conversation between staff members: no signs anywhere in shop. No idea when they will be fixed and no one in store particularly bothered by it. I was under the impression (may be wrong) that a service provider was obliged to provide a certain number of toilets per number of customers? so there should be a sense of urgency in getting them fixed? A bit of empathy from staff could have helped a lot too.
The coffee was wishy washy but I often find this in a Starbucks. I was giving it one last try. The staff were pleasant but admitted short staffed and a long queue formed with announcements of 'no decaffeinated ' every so often. I had a gift voucher and wanted to get rid of it. The guy doing the coffee was chatty and calm and we had a laugh. It 's a dark Starbucks, needs brightening up and too many dogs, wet and smelly, at tables so I will let them get on with their doggy meetings and find somewhere a bit better next time. NO criticism of the staff though who were pleasant and super friendly.
I have visited this restaurant several times during their eat-in special, which offers great value. The manager is very pleasant and talkative. It's a wonderful spot to meet up with my best friend. The coffee and granola bars are delicious.
