Trumbull Kitchen - Hartford

Trumbull Kitchen is our favorite restaurant in downtown Hartford because of its amazing consistency. The food is always great, especially as there are always new, innovative dishes to taste. The service is crisp and inconspicuous and they always pick us up in time to come to our event. It was packed on Saturday night, but we sat immediately and everyone noticed that despite the whole house we could easily hear each other. It is so nice not to have deposited 20 minutes before the bar. We had an excellent dinner and I was pleased when our server, knowing our show started at 8:00, brought our check with our coffee so we could go when we were ready and not have to hunt them. All in all... it was another experience.

Nice place, and it filled up at noon on a Saturday. Good menu offerings, and tasty dishes. Hope to return sometime.

Great food, eclectic menu...lots of game meat (alligator! on the daily specials menu...plus attentive staff. Trumbull Kitchen is a bright spot in the Hartford restaurant scene. Keep up the good work!

UCONN had a game that night, that’s the reason for the noise level.

Brett was brilliant during Happy Hour prelude. Our party of 3 had a fabulous time!
