Zur Fronmuhle - Haßloch

Sabine and I are on the road with the camper. A friend gave us the tip to make here at the Fronmüller Land Gasthaus stop, as there is a very good food here. Mrs. Bauer welcomed us with our dog. We were even allowed to stay free in the parking lot with our camper. We are back there the Rumsteak and the fish was excellent at this price.

In addition to a small village you will find the Fronmühle, an original rural location, tastefully neo-rustic. Parking is enough. The service is very friendly and very attentive. The dishes come from the series “good citizens” with small subtleties. It is with a tasteful greeting from the kitchen, e.g. with a gamba with auberbine! Great. I had an exemplary prepared hot bovine broth with fresh vegetable stiffening, my wife had a goat cheese dressed on salad leaves tastefully. There was a cordon ball from the calf, with a good cheese filling and a very tasty grill plate. Since the portions were very abundant, we forget the dessert. by the Way: The rare rum from Mauritius, 8YO, as a small digestive instrument was perfect. Children are supervised: children's tables, children's carvings and, of course, spaghetti like children. I'm glad to see you again.

We have been guests in the Fronmühle, we also used the party service for private parties. So after the Corona Lockdown we were looking forward to our first restaurant visit and the good kitchen as well as to a nice table on the terrace where you can not book but according to the information the boss would certainly have a place for us on our phone reservation. Unfortunately, on our arrival, despite enough space? on the terrace, only a table in the empty restaurant was reserved. On our question whether a table on the terrace would be possible, after long hesitation we got only one place at another pair at a sufficiently large??? Table corona compliant?? assigned. Even during our order, however, other guests who came later, as of course assigned their own table on the terrace ? or just sat down.... We were really irritated. Appetizers: once clams, once variation from tuna: both visually and tastefully excellent!!! Main dishes: twice Fronmühlen Grillteller, once our daughter Cordon Bleu vom Kalb: were quite okay. Conclusion: Food: good appetizers excellent. Service: unfortunately still air up. And a little more kindness also on the part of the boss in general would certainly point us more often towards hatchhole. Otherwise, we think about whether we really want to come in the area now there are quite nice alternatives.

Very good family restaurant in great location with beautiful outdoor terrace. I've been there several times and was always very friendly. The food is super tasty and the prices also vote. Absolute recommendation!
