Great restaurant just have to watch/call ahead as they sometimes have the car show menu that 's much smaller and doesn 't feature very many items. That being said they have a great house salsa, decent prices and portions and great fresh flavors!Definitely worth stopping by if you 're in town.

Food was good, service was good. I loved the salsa served with the chips... it was perfect for me, great balance of only slight heat and lots of flavor. I'd go there again.

We absolutely love the green enchiladas with rice and beans, as well as the street tacos with the same sides. The verde salsa that accompanies the tacos is fantastic, and I often buy an extra container to take home. This place is amazing for enjoying authentic Mexican cuisine. Highly recommend El Mexican Restaurant!

Both kids and adults leave happy! The classic Mexican dishes truly hit the mark. The homemade refried beans are flavorful and far from being an afterthought from a can. The shrimp, steak, and house salsa are all packed with flavor. The kids particularly enjoyed the breakfast options!
