Chevalier's Party Palace - Hattiesburg

I was given a turtle from Pet Palace over a year ago. The person who bought the turtle was told that the turtle would never be bigger if you bought it. Unfortunately, a year later and spend a day in and out of the animal hospital led my sweet turtle past his sleep. The veterinarian said it seems that he was bred to be small forever, which has been deficiencies and his life span from 25-30 years to an indefinite period, which in this case was 1-2 years. I can't talk to their other animals or any things they sell, but I can strongly suggest that you don't buy turtles from this business unless you want a short term commitment.

Three times I was in the store and three times I was completely disappointed. The first time I bought fish. I bought two females and a male. Of course they were in separate tanks, the two females died within a few days and the man lived. I brought her back and he said it must have been my tank, although I had 8 or 10 other guppens in the tank and the other fish was good. I came in a second time and bought a male guppy and the same thing within two days it died, I didn't even bother to come back because of course it would have been my fault. Fast forward 6 months and the light on the top of my tank breaks I go anywhere in the city to get one and of course there is no one to find. My last choice is here, I explained to him that I am not quite sure if it fits and he assures me that it will. I'll buy it home and of course it doesn't fit. I'll buy it on Saturday that he's closed on Sunday, and I'll bring it on Monday with the reception to say that they don't take a return. On Saturday I told him that I wasn't sure it would fit, and I would definitely not have bought it for $70 if I knew he wouldn't come back. I will not return to the store, and I will tell everyone not to bring their business here! Buyer Careful! This guy's only there for money!

Awesome pet store. The owners are super friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of well cared for animals along with all the accessories. I've been a customer here for 20 years.
