Generally, I'm not a big fan of franchise restaurants, but sometimes they are unavoidable. That said, the buffet at Front Porch in Hattiesburg offers some surprisingly good food. Their fried catfish rivals that of many local fish houses, and their brisket is the best I've tried in South Mississippi. It's this combination of catfish and brisket that will keep me coming back to Front Porch in the future. I didn’t get a chance to try their chocolate bread pudding, but I'm eager to sample it. If you're in the Hattiesburg area and craving some delicious country or soul food, be sure to check out Front Porch—you'll definitely find something on the buffet that will satisfy everyone.

Great atmosphere, delicious food and terrific service! My only issue is they close at 7:30pm on Saturday nights and we live about an hours drive away. Wouldn't be an issue if sometimes we didn't work on Saturday.

Everything was great. People were very nice and attentive. The food was very delicious and fresh.
