Gasho of Japan - Hauppauge

I went to Gasho of Japan with my boyfriend and it was such a good experience. Will definitely be coming back soon

Its a fun place to go with a group of freinds or family. Food was good and there was plenty of it. Wait staff was great.

By far the most disappointing experience I've ever had. Over the years the quality of food has depleted, and so has the service . The tables are very small which makes you feel as if your sitting on top of the person sitting next to you. Normally this would have been doable yet our waitress only came over to take our order and then disappeared leaving the empty cups and plates to be stacked around one another when there was barely any room to begin with. The food tasted like absolutely nothing. The rice was supposed to be fried rice yet it wasn't cooked long enough, was hard and half of it was left white. The waitress as i mentioned previously, only took our order then disappeared and never came back leaving us not only with dirty plates but with NO DRINKS while eating our disappointing meal. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE I WILL MAKE SURE TO SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THE DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE I HAD.

The host to a long time to even talk to me.... I got there 10 mins before my reservation n she didnt speak to me although I tried to get her attention till 28 mins after my reservation time and then still had to wait 15 more mins after that to be seated. the cooks here are always excellent and entertaining although this time he tried to tell me that bean sprouts were noodles n cooked a bunch of bean sprouts n threw them on my plate.

They completely forgot about our entire hibachi table. We got appetizers before we got our drinks. This place is just terrible the service is terrible it’s over priced just don’t waste your money find a better hibachi place
