Liberty Bell - Havering

Me and my partner arrived for an evening meal and the restaurant was absolutely packed.they had 3 coach loads of young gymnasts for the weekend. as always the staff where brilliant ,they where rushed off there feet but still had time to make you feel welcome.a big thank you to Steve,Craig,Ellis, Tracey, Sam and all the staff on the night,we had the chargrilled king prawns and vegetables on skewers with a nice salad and was cooked to perfection a really good dish and we will be back soon

Food was fine. Nothing special but I didn't expect much from a chain like Beefeater. The service however. Server was in too much of a rush to pay much attention. As soon as she had done the bare minimum she ran off. If you wanted to add another drink to the order you had to practically shout to get her attention. I could understand if it was busy but it really wasn't. When we eventually got our order we pointed out that we were missing some items and she argued that we didnt order them. No we did but you didnt stop to listen. Service was slow. Waited almost 45 minutes for the first things to arrive at the table and once we were done the empty plates sat for at least 20 minutes. Glasses were not cleared at all. My mother inlaw tipped our server, I have to be honest I wouldn't have. To add insult to injury however as we were getting ready to leave we were told to hurry up as the next group wanted our table. We had our table booked, we were there for 2 and a half hours. For 2 courses. The only reason we were there for this long was because of the slow service, then they had the cheek to hurry out a group with 2 elderly people who were clearly struggling to move? Disgusting!

I recently dined at this chain restaurant for dinner and was extremely impressed with both the service and the food quality. I ordered the Rib-eye steak and it was absolutely incredible! The cooking was perfect and the quality surpassed most other steaks I've had. This was my second visit in recent times and once again, the steak was cooked perfectly. The presentation of the dishes was also very nicely done, showing attention to detail. My wife's side salad was also fresh and well-prepared. Our waiter, Charlie, was highly professional, friendly, and courteous. We are already looking forward to our next visit for another delicious and reasonably priced meal at Liberty Bell.

The food was delicious overall, but I was disappointed with the cold chocolate churros I ordered for dessert. Other than that, the food was fantastic.

Stayed at the premier inn next door for 2 nights had dinner in the beefeater staff all very welcoming and friendly decent food one of the best beefeater’s I have used on my travels
