El Mariachi - Hazleton

I visited the restaurant yesterday, August 25, 2024, and unfortunately, the food was terrible—so lackluster in flavor that I was shocked. I used to enjoy their dishes, but something seems to have changed, and I can't tell if they got a new chef or what. The food was just awful; honestly, I can make better Mexican food myself. On top of that, as soon as we walked in, there was a strange smell that made me feel nauseous. The service was good, but the poor quality of the food really overshadowed the experience.

It seems like they might be going out of business or something is going on. I've tried to visit several times over the last couple of months, but they were always closed.

Went there with my daughter and grandson for a meal. The food was ordered and then I decided to have a Mojito drink. My daughter joined me. When they arrived, I noticed that the mint in our drinks was rotted...... I took my fork and fished it out.... it was disgusting. I pointed this out to my daughter and she noticed it too. I'm sorry to this day that I didn't complain, because my daughter doesn't like to do that, but I will NEVER RETURN !!! TRUST ME, IT WAS COMPLETELY ROTTED. DISGUSTING.

First of all, terrible serviceSecondly, the young woman who attended us with attitude...Finally, the bill amounted to 340 dollars and the young woman included the tip without telling us of 45 dollars, saying that every 200 dollars was the law's tip included... they don't express that tip as a tip if they don't put another charge saying. ..(open retail) I think that's not right.... very bad experience that I got from that restaurant

The burrito I had was fantastic! I ordered both carne asada and shrimp, and the spicy salsa was wonderfully flavorful. Definitely check this place out!
