Homey, rustic. It was not updated in time, but the food is good, and the staff is friendly. Best pizza in Healdsburg I'm pretty sure. Basic and New York. Fun to see the pizza type/ball, throw the dough.
This place gives Healdsburg a pleasant charm. The food is delicious and affordable. The place looks rough around the edges, but I wouldn't have. It feels so comfortable in there and somehow I went back to an Italian place in the late 70s in a time machine.
About a year-and-a-half years ago I stayed in this restaurant after a long ride around the country on my scooter from Michigan over Route 66 to Coast Highway I was on the road for about 12 weeks when I passed on this restaurant, unnecessary to say that I don't smell good and a tad tattered. I was greeted by the waiters or servers that I think we may be connected to the owner daughters. I felt like a family I needed on this point on my trip. The food was delicious, the wine was delicious and the company was great. I'll be sure to go back to my next one....
The place is dump city with all dirt from years of construction workers coming in after work for beer and pizza. The great thing about Giorgio's is the pizza, specifically the sausage, mushroom and olive...that's it, don't order any more than that! The sausage is house made and full of flavor...old school flavor. It will bring back memories of your best ever pizza.
