This is a small winery with wonderful wines and excellent staff. My wife and I were served by Ellen who knew a lot about the wine and wine grounds. Her wines were excellent. We enjoyed coming here. we have made wine tastings in Dry Creek Valley for the last 25 years. Medlock Ames is a place you shouldn't miss.
At 3:30 a.m., an hour before the conclusion of the time with my daughter on mother's day after a nice lunch in Catelli's. I thought a little taste on our way home would be a nice treat. Unfortunately we were met outside by a gentleman and said the last tasting is at 3 and we should check the website. Apparently, reservations are required. We felt very unwilling. There were no other males there, so it would have been nice if he had offered us a reservation on the spots
I love this winery! Member of the wine club since 2016 and cannot say enough about this winery. They make the best sauvignon blanc I never had! Always amazing reds and the two tasting rooms and the property are beautiful. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They treat us every time I visit! Very recommended if you are looking for a winery in Alexander Valley. You will love it absolutely!
