Feedback gevenWas it excited to try this as a former Heber resident as there were some good bozz among the locals in the old stomping grounds of the The Other End?, Heber?s old bar. The service was good, but the food was only average. It was said to try the Back 40 Pastrami Burger and Pommes. Either the quality of the meat was bad or they did not find out how to season their meat long enough. It was also far overtaken for medium?? full brown throughout the way. The pastrami was chewing and too thick instead of falling apart like the brisket. It also has a block of cheese that was not close to the melt. I appreciate that they offer a gluten-free bungalow. The frits were also quite soggy and their homemade fry sauce needs work. If you are looking for a big Pastrami burger and fry sauce, try Burgers Supreme in Provo or one of the Crown Burger locations in Salt Lake County. Skip the burger. The cup was a pleasant surprise. And her coke syrup mix is important to me. I want to try some more things on the menu. The surroundings are great for Heber. I just need some work in the kitchen.
Great food and atmosphere at this grill. The hamburger was amazing, like the chicken sandwich. Portions are big and we have a lot for later. The carburized onion was a nice change and the homemade chips are very well made. The cheeseburger of my son was great enough for every child and very well seasoned.
Beautiful Roadside American with an incredible view. Almost everything we eat here is fantastic, but the burgers and chicken sandwiches are definitely the stars. Service is always great, and the terrace is a wonderful place to get a beer on a warm summer day.
The first thing you notice when you get in is the fantastic view through the huge picture windows in the back of the restaurant. You can sit inside or outside, but there are some great seats inside with a killer view. The food is top notch, we had a reub and the chicken tacos. Also learned while we were here that Fry Sauce was created in Utah. In most restaurants we were there. Staff also did good work.
I ordered the salmon tacos. The fish was well seasoned and firm. The salsa brought all the flavors together....a masterpiece! Kevin was our server; he is friendly and has a great deal of knowledge regarding the menu selections, bar drinks, and specials. The Back 40 is a local favorite and has a thriving customer base.
