Sun Fish Chicken - Helensburgh

Ordered food for delivery and when it hadn’t arrived 40 mins later called to check on the timescale for delivery. We were told it would be with us shortly as they were just waiting for the car. When it hadn’t arrived 20 mins later (we are less than a mile from the shop! we called to chase up and this time were told there was no record of our order.........so we told them just to cancel the order. Another 20 minutes later there was a knock at the door with the food

We arrived in Helensburgh after a long day out and were starving. Owing to covid, the fish and chip shops on the front were closed but we found this one thanks to a Google maps search. Glad we did. Lovely haddock in crispy batter. Plenty of it (without being over the top). We ate on the benches overlooking the Loch. Stunning. Helensburgh is lovely.

Ordered fish supper we paid full price the owner denied that we only ordered single fish when we clearly ordered fish supper with chips the Owner is RUDE.... don’t buy from this shop Bad customer service!

Don't listen to anything anyone else says about this chip shop. The food is always fresh, hot and of good quality. The staff are also pleasant and quiet. When you order over the phone, they are always very pleasant too. It's the best chippy in town! Anyone else who says otherwise is talking nonsense. I've never had a bad meal from there and that's the truth!

Best chippy in town, pizzas are lovely, parking nearby, great prices, what more could you want. 10 out 10
