Great meals, excellent taste, brilliant owners, wonderful service, never goes wrong with your choice.
Compared to Finnish restaurants this place was nice. We ate here twice. First time stroganoff&mushed potatoes and Shawarma and second time pasta and tomato soup. The stroganoff and shawarma are highly recommend and that’s what got us to come back, but to be honest the second time wasn’t as good. The chicken pasta was nothing special and the tomato soup either. But they had a nice salad bar that is included in the lunch and they have good options there. I do recommend a meat based meal here! They were very friendly and the service was fast and good.
We had a late lunch here, after sight-seeing on a brief visit to Helsinki: it was really wonderful. We were welcomed warmly by the owner. The salad bar had a big variety of salads, with fresh bread, a main meal and coffee, all for about €10 each. The creamy salmon soup, the beef and salad wraps and the pasta with goats cheese and spinach were all delicious. Such a friendly place, we were so glad that we found it (it's so small that we had almost walked right past)
Maggie and Tony are so nice. They greet you with big smile and open heart and make you feel so welcome. The food is excellent and you really must try both the Moussaka, the lamb or chicken Shwarma or the famous lemon chicken. Soups are good to. A must in Helsinki.
