Sal's Italian - Henderson

What a hidden gem found in Henderson Texas! This amazing restaurant sits a little between 2 other buildings and if you didn't know it was there, you would drive right past. Fortunately, someone brought me there for lunch, and my crooks will never be the same. In fact, I went the following day (today) and brought my family to dinner. The atmosphere is perfect, great design, beautiful things to admire as fast as decoration along with sitting at the lake! While you go to the entrance, there is a beautiful well furnished and it really prepares to be relaxed and transposed into the great atmosphere inside. It's wheelchair accessible. All staff are friendly. The restaurant is very clean. The bathroom was clean and had room for my wheelchair. They offer hand sanitation on the door for those who want it. The food is authentic Italian and it is divine!! The portions are large, the prices are extremely fair (the best I have eaten with my family in 2 months). It is so refreshing, able to sit and really enjoy the entire experience without discomfort, and do not have to pay an arm a leg. At the time of this review, they are engaged! If you need a job, go by. I don't want this place to close because they don't have enough staff. I recommend Sal 's, if you are in Henderson, you can 't go through and miss out on an amazing experience! Get Sal while you're here!

Great food. Many options to choose from. Hearty bread before meals given, and it is delicious. The staff is friendly. There is a beautiful view of the lake in the east, and seems to build on another room with an even better view.

First visit, shameful! Will definitely not be the last! Great food, great atmosphere, great people! If you love Italian food or just a great pizza, go to Sals!

So far the best Italian food we had in East Texas! The pizza is great too! Best pizza we had between Cherokee and Rusk Counties. The crust was amazing! Could have been a little harder on the amount of blows, we got Pepperoni and pineapple and there was hardly any pineapple on some slices had no. The experience was immaculate. The food was ready when they said it was when I ordered. They were quick and friendly when I took up the food. I really like the pull-out containers, they are a type of foil pear pan and it kept the food nice and warm on the 20 minutes drive home. We will definitely be back!!

Sal 's will definitely be our go to restaurant for Italian cuisine. Robust flavors with just the right seasoning captures by the chef. My wife and I had the combo dinner. Making a decision on which entre was the best still has us debating. To top off our meals we had the cheesecake and amaretto cheesecake both were delicious. The restaurant was very clean and our waitress, Jay, was helpful and delightful. The entire experience was at a very reasonable price. If this review was helpful, please like it.
