This is a nice local coffee shop. I enjoy supporting local businesses, but I have to say I got totally caught off guard by the shockingly, rude staff person in the kitchen. I had ordered a coffee, and while I was waiting, I mistakenly wandered 1 2 steps into the kitchen area, which was open and accessible and not obvious whether that was kitchen or customer space. The staff person looked at me like I had three heads and rudely told me that this is the kitchen area and then I’m not allowed here. It was an innocent mistake but I seemed to get the third degree from this staff person who apparently doesn’t have any customer service sense. Things like that can really ruin a person’s day. I am hopeful that the manager will have a talk with their staff about being kinder to customers who after all are the lifeline of their business.
