Sanborns - Heroica Matamoros

It calls "cafe", but there is no coffee choice. Only black one and I expecting to have at least cappuccino. If you ask descafeinado they give you Nescafe that you have to make by yourself. Food is very pure. No taste at all. I feel that they use Knorr in they soups. Place is clean and good located, but there is better places in Matamoros where you can eat mexican food!

The only thing I don't like about this place is that the food has no taste. They have a large variety of dishes, the staff is helpful and attentive and the food is well done. A lot of people like it, including my family, but I just can't find any taste to the food, it's just too bland for my taste.

Had breakfast buffet one adult one kid under 10 free. The buffet is $150.00 pesos which is about $10.00.The buffet includes coffee, orange and vegetable juices, mik,chocolate milk, and a variety of pastries, pancakes, oatmeal, fruit, eggs to order, menudo, etc, etc! The service is friendly and the place is clean with a nice atmosphere to talk.If you ever visit Brownsville, Tx- Matamoros area go have breakfast here!!!
