The Tannery - Hexham

We visited this afternoon, just by chance. two couples with 3 dogs, one of which was a bit grumpy. great staff, good beer and excellent burger. they were very hospitable. they would have visited again.

Very busy locals pub! Young crowd and a live band at time of visit. Chalk board shows cask ales on sale two large rooms served by a central well stocked bar but on visit only one ale available, which was on its last legs so hard to fairly judge!

Great food, really nice staff. I can highly recommend the burgers, and my Sister loved the music. Place is clean, good atmosphere, welcoming. I couldn’t fault the place.

The most friendly pub I've ever been to. Worked around dietary requirements and everyone loved and fussed over our dog. Highly recommended.

A fantastic pub that more than welcomes dogs. The drinks available are very varied with a fine selection of ales too. The food is very reasonably priced but excellent in quality portion sizes, vegetarians catered for too.
