A woman who was talking with him then came over to take my order. She simply asked, "What do you want?" without any greeting, which struck me as quite rude. I ordered the pizzas I wanted along with garlic bread, but she quickly moved on to the next customer before I had finished. When I said I also wanted spaghetti with meatballs, she asked if it was for takeout or dining in, to which I replied dining in. She then placed the food in a very awkward container. When I went to pay, I asked for two sodas, and although they handed me my food, they didn’t provide any trays, explaining that they hadn’t used them since COVID—understandable, but still inconvenient. The plates they served our food on were very flimsy and of poor quality, making it difficult to handle. I paid nearly $35 for the meal, and honestly, the quality did not meet my expectations. The spaghetti sauce was sparse, with only one meatball, and there was grease pooling at the bottom of the aluminum container. Overall, the customer service was quite disappointing. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. I wish I had taken more pictures to capture the experience.
I really enjoy this type of cuisine and have fond memories of the older pizza and pasta places that used to be in this area before Sbarro opened. Unfortunately, my experience at this location hasn’t been great since it opened not too long ago. The food on display often looks stale, and the young staff seems to lack customer service skills. There have been times when the workers disappear to the back, leaving the front unattended for long stretches. I’ve found it difficult to place an order because no one is at the counter for extended periods. Just two days ago, there was no one available when I finally saw a staff member. I tried to order, but I was surprised to learn they were only accepting cash. It feels like there should be a manager overseeing the employees here to improve the overall service.
The baked ziti is the only dish I usually crave at Sbarro because it's so delicious. However, this particular location just doesn't do it justice. That was my first red flag.
Not good. The pizza tasted like it was two days old, and the pasta sauce was just a mix of water and oil. The only decent part was the pasta itself. It's disappointing because I've had much better experiences at other locations.
The best New York-style pizza in town! Once you take a bite of a slice, you'll be eager to devour the entire pie.
