Hart Soul Café - Hickory

Cute spot with nice comfy decor, excellent service and shrimp and grits breakfast was tasty.

If you are ever in Hickory you have to come to this cafe!! The sweetest people and the best food by a mile! Their shrimp and grits for breakfast is to die for!!Update: went back the next day and had their Special of Crab Bacon Tacos. OMG! They were also just as great and the service was just as great! I would go earlier in their service time, as we did have a slight wait to get in when we got here on Day 2 about 10:45.

I had a great sandwich, and when something wasn’t right, it was made right properly regarding one of the sides.I would definitely like to go back

We went on a Sunday around 11:00, order was taken then we waited and waited while other people were being served and take out orders were picked up. We were served so much coffee I though we would float away. Finally a hour later we were served . Once and done .

I always love visiting this restaurant! We have tried French toast, omelets, shrimp and grits, breakfast tacos, and pancakes. The fried green tomatoes with chipotle mayo are delicious and definitely my favorite. The staff are friendly and welcoming, but sometimes get very busy. It's a great stop on Saturday mornings after a trip to the Farmer's Market!
