Frosty Frog Cafe - Hilton Head Island

Nothing at all wrong with this place if you want a family atmosphere. Pizza was good, beer selection wasn't bad, service was great! We prefer a more adult crowd and atmosphere. There were a number of smaller children. It reminded me of a place to meet after the football game. We've been here twice and had good food and service both times. The patio was a little more our speed than the indoor restaurant.

Expensive, average food and pricy. When music is going it is difficult to talk because of how loud it is. So many hard surfaces the sound bounces around.

Frosty Frog is a fun casual, near the beach place, with a good variety on the large menu. I had the Denny’s Beef Bologna sandwich, and when I asked how it was, our waiter Felipe (of “Felipe’s Loaded Baked Potato Skins” fame) noted he was trying that tonight, but with a twist, going with Pimento Cheese instead of the standard American cheese. I went with that and it did not disappoint! Thanks Felipe! We also had Wings, tossed in the Red Dragon sauce that was also tasty, like a Glory sauce at Glory Days in Virginia, or Daytona sauce at Hooters. Always lively and great ambience. Had the pulled pork sandwich and some sweet tea. Loved them both! The table shared their monster-sized pretzels. Also great!

We loved this place. Pizza is fantastic and very reasonable. Will return when we are on HH again.
