The Smokehouse - Hilton Head Island

Great people and service. Food not so much. Had chicken corn chowder, too thick and gloppy. Too sweet. Needs more chicken, salt, pepper and a pepper or a bit of spice. Should be creamy but not gloppy. I did not eat much. Tacos did not have a lot of flavor. They sound good and was excited but could not taste the steak or pork. Mac and cheese balls were dry. Brisket was good had better, but good. Same for ribs. Never had that moment of yum.

Great service from a great bartender named Walker, great drinks all night, great coverage of the football games, and good food. Never leave reviews but the personality that Walker had on the day after Christmas we had to! We will always remember and make sure we stop in to see him!

Service was good. The food was good. However, it didn 't have enough smoke flavor. With a name like The Smokehouse, I guess I expected more of a smoke flavor. The food was though, and the cook was good.

Food was great. Really liked the ribs. Service was fast and attentive to refills.
