This place offers probably the best value vegan com tam in District 1. While there used to be around 7 vegan/vegetarian restaurants on or near this street, now there are only three left, including NHÀ TÔI VEGAN. They also serve vegan coffee, although I didn't get a chance to try it. I had 4 delicious meals there, which cost me 158,000.
I ordered the roasted rice and vegetarian ribs expecting a delicious home-cooked meal based on the positive reviews and appetizing photos. However, what arrived was a packaged rice cracker and cold, dry ribs that were nothing like what I expected. It took me about 15 minutes to realize that this was actually my order, as I had assumed they brought out an appetizer first. It seems like there may have been a language barrier issue, and they could benefit from improving the English on their menu, as a rice cracker is not the same as roasted rice. I am only giving them 1 star because they seemed apologetic.
The food at this restaurant was both delicious and visually appealing. It was also surprisingly affordable. In addition to the great food, they have a small shop where you can purchase cookies, instant soups, and other treats. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and their English was excellent. We also enjoyed meeting and chatting with some friendly local vegans, which added to the overall wonderful dining experience.
Good selection of food but hard to say what it was from the menu. I had the goat that was nice. I have no idea if it tastes goats!
Lots of vegan options, various tofu meals in daily offer, very very cheap (40k/full plate and the staff was really nice and helpful (and always smiling widely : !
