Rookies All American Pub Grill Hoffman Estates

My three friends and I went to Rookies after a concert at NOW Arena. We called ahead to make sure the kitchen was still open and were told we had until 11:50 to place our order. We tried calling again on our way there but received no answer. When we arrived at 11:39 and informed the host that we wanted to eat, he assured us it wouldn't be a problem. However, we had trouble getting the attention of any waitstaff and were ultimately told at 11:52 that it was too late to order. Despite speaking to the manager, we were informed that nothing could be done as the kitchen was already backed up. This was disappointing and unprofessional for a bar that advertises late-night food service and is located so close to a major venue.

This sports bar has a lively atmosphere that makes it a great spot to watch a game, enjoy a drink, grab a bite to eat, or do all of the above. They offer a diverse menu with something for everyone. The service is good, and the food is both delicious and reasonably priced.

This is a great spot to catch a game and the food is delicious. I would have given it a perfect rating, but the bartender appeared more focused on chatting with their friends than serving customers. Poor service at the bar.

I have been going to here with my husband for lunch for the past 10 plus years and I have never experienced service this BAD. I would have given half a star if that was an option. My aunt and I stopped in for dinner and we were seated and NO ONE broughtus water or came to take an order. I asked the hostess after 15 plus minutes of nothing was someone going to help us, she saidshe would grab our waitress. The hostess sends this other waitress to our table to see if we have been helped. This waitresswalked past our table 3 times and also saw when we were seated so she knew we had not been helped. She proceeded to say that shewould grab our waitress to help us. At this point we get up to leave because the service at this point is just not it. My auntthinks it was racial but I never had this happen so who knows. Just very disappointing. I do not think I will be dinning hereagain. This happened on 11/4 6pm

A group of us went on Wednesday night for $1 hamburger night. Even though short staffed, service and waitress was great. Food was awesome! Everyone enjoyed they're dinners. Comfortable atmosphere, music not too loud so we were able to talk withoutyelling.
