This time I ordered their fresh spring rolls and their Laotian noodle soup, Kao PBoon. As usual, the food was fresh and good quality, and the flavors were vibrant. The broth of the noodle soup was rich with coconut and lemongrass, and there were plenty of toppings. They also had a whole counter of additional sauces and toppings to doctor up your meal as you like. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. It was nice to reconfirm that Rock N Thai is still living up to my expectations from years back.
There's a spice level for everybody here! Wonderful food at a great price friendly family run business You'll feel great after eating these healthy and delicious recipes:Green curry is the bomb here Chicken satay packs a ton of flavor Pad Thai is a favorite Crab Rangoons are quality as well. Tom Kha soup is the best soup in town! This place checks all the boxes and they treat their customers!
Love this restaurant, especially the new building. The food is great, without a doubt some of the best Thai in Holland. I'm a spice lover, if I'm not sweating...it's not hot enough. And I must admit, the Lao Hot does the job. I have to have an extra handful of paper towel or napkins nearby. It's the perfect amount of heat to make you almost regret that last bite, but can't wait for the next one.
Food was good, it hit the spot for a Thai craving. Chili oil is nice and spicy, iced tea was delicious. My issue was with the extraordinarily sticky floor, and the dirty upholstery on the booths! It’s time to clean them if there’s food stains splattered all over. Come on, guysFood: 3/5
I liked the food and atmosphere but my problem arose when it was time for me to leave. The food was so hot (even though it had been 20 minutes since I'd gotten it) that I burned my fingers on the bowl while trying to put it in a to go container. I literally had to ice my fingers because the tips of them were hot pink. The server explained that the food was fresh. Fresh food is not an excuse to make the food, and thus the bowls, so hot that they burn your customers.
