Seafood linguini was nice. do not order garlic focaccia as it was on a pizza base and garlic from a glass that was not very beautiful. the Bolognaise sauce on gnocchi tasted as if it were Napoli sauce from a glass and did not seem to have mint. the gnocchi was very hard and chewing, as if it were frozen or maybe long live. there are much better Italian restaurants and we will vote with our feet. it may be that they had no cook at this night, but we had a cook with us and it was a disappointment
The Christmas dinner has reserved several weeks before online. the website of the restaurant said they were open. receive confirmation email on the day before. after a long walk we came to the place to find a note that said they were closed for christmas. had great difficulties finding every place. to eat Christmas. restaurant is responsible for the management of closures with online reservation systems. very poor.
The service was not good, brought the wrong wein. my pizza was unusable waiter said he thought it looked bad when he put it on the table. no one came near us until my man had finished his meal, then they came by and said it was about their control when I had ordered a GF base (they charge $5 extra on the menu for this option?!) this restaurant
My husband found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and suggested we give it a try for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received from a friendly waitress. After looking over the menu, we were seated quickly and enjoyed excellent service from our waiter at Table 19. The food, including my ravioli and my husband's calzone, was delicious. We were so impressed that we ended up sharing our meals. The wine selection was lovely and the staff were all very friendly. We had a great experience and hope to return next time we are in Cairns.
