El Azteca - Hondo

I have been to this restaurant twice now. The second time was mainly because my friend insisted on going, as many people I know enjoy it. Personally, I am not a fan. The staff are not well trained and behave as if they are doing me a favor. The cleanliness of the restaurant leaves much to be desired, even for the Mexican food and salsa. I may consider giving it another chance in a few years.

Local Mexican restaurant that we often eat. their chicken enchiladas are the best and the chips and salsa are their specificity.

I ordered the green enchiladas, which were delicious. The chips and salsa were also very good. I especially enjoyed the fresh tortillas that were brought to our table. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

This is a fantastic family restaurant located in downtown Hondo. The food is always fresh and piping hot. They also serve cold beer and offer attentive service.

We ordered food for a party of 25 to go and everything was great! Would definitely go back. A little pricey for enchiladas but food was great, so it all evened out.
